i have been getting a tad bit too obsessed with reverse 1999 lately and compiled some stuff around might edit it if i find more
this yapping session will be abt sonetto
her name is deprived from a fourteen line poetry called the Sonnet while also having the meaning of “little song or sound’
her udimo is a dog called Cirneco Dell’Etna a breed that originated from italy as stated in her storyboard
she doesn't know her date of birth and uses the date of when she was adopted by the foundation as her birthday (January 10th)
she's 16 yrs old
she's speculated to be 5'3 ft or 160 cm
her compliments are so sincere that people are often too shy to face her (the rizzler)
back in SPDM she was worried about vertin's arcane skill exams and tutored her privately
a helper in the SPDM once found a challenge letter with pink heart patterns in the trash bin (might imply that the letter was from matilda to sonetto)
sonetto is an artist as stated in her 80% bond story and glassfeder's description
sonetto likes collecting newspapers and treasures them
every year she gets a present from vertin on her birthday which is mostly a collection of poems
it’s implied (this is really obvious) that she has a crush on the timekeeper/Vertin and has also been implied sonetto's va during the reddit Q&A
on her medal she has an embroidered dog on it (i just thought this was cute)
since she doesn't know much about the outside world or her culture she doesn't see anything wrong with pineapple pizza or gelato pizza for that matter (april fools and pizza hut collab comic)
she keeps a frog in a jar in her room
time for voiceline analysis
"Sempre caro mi fu quest'ermo colle.”
this quote is derived from the poem L’Infinito by Giacomo Leopardi in the autumn of 1819 the poem is meant to show how he yearns to travel beyond his restrictive hometown of Recanati and experience more of the world that he studied.
this can also show the way sonetto might have wished to see the outside world just as she studied on the textbooks
"Regna sereno intenso ed infinito.”
a line from the poem Mezzogiorno Alpino written after a short stay in Courmayeur, Giosuè Carducci reflects on the clear Alpine landscape, with the aim of highlighting the power of nature.
the trees stood as if to enjoy the pleasure of the sunlight penetrating their branches, absolute silence dominates, broken only by the rustling of the river water.
this might show how much interest and adoration sonetto shows towards things outside of the foundation
“So long lives this and this gives power to thee.”
a line from the famous poem Sonnet 18 by William Shakespeare, where he used this poem to praise the beauty of his beloved where their beauty is more preferable than a hot summer day. theres a bit of a change in the lines "So long lives this and this gives life to thee." the original line used life instead of power, it wouldn't really make sense if they used life for a buffer it would've been more of a healing skill so i get it
(i actually don't know what link this has towards sonetto soo fun fact sonnet 18 was about a man)
"I know the moon and this is an alien city”
the line is derived from the poem A London Thoroughfare 2 A.M by Amy Lowell the meaning of this poem is the feeling of being lost in a busy city, expressing emotions such as loneliness and being overwhelmed and how the only thing familiar to the writer was the moon. (aight im sorry idk how to word this one again another fun fact Amy Lowell is a sapphic and likes to call her muse or lover Lady of the moon)
“Each moment, now night.”
One of the lines from the poem Night by Max Weber (not the sociologist, also not sure on what to write since i dont actually know what the poem actually means i like to think that its about the silence and darkness of the night to show loneliness)
so basically most of these references loneliness and adoration towards the things the writer wrote about which might link to how sonetto might feel adoration and curiosity for the outside world and how she might've felt lonely in the foundation after being closed off from the outside world
(sorry if some words might not make sense and for how many things i've kept blank i failed literature so feel free to correct me im always up for discussion, its funny the way i found out most poets are queer are because of this)

Timekeeper.
This is Qianna, or Q. But she’s called Qianna by the narrative for convience sake among mortals - not by her fellow Q. Qianna’s one of the main antagonists for my friend @pixelplanetig’s star trek fan series, Star Trek Andromeda! Shes in charge of overseeing the prime timeline, and of the Q is by far one of the most terrifying.
Despite her beautiful attire, she instills terror and dread in mortals - due to the innate fear of the passage of time (death, old age, and the like). Her eyes are lifeless and flat, too vacant to be human.
Now that I got that out of the way, she is very very dear to me, as you can tell by the 99 images I’ve drawn of her on Toyhouse (which is very convoluted but you should totally read >:) ).
#she’s also buds with Q as in john de lancie Q who bothers her relentlessly#it’s a very silly dynamic#honestly i could talk about her for ages she’s my pride and joy#star trek andromeda#star trek ocs#star trek oc#star trek q#my art#qianna#oc: qianna

Croissant Cookie ─── No creo haberte visto antes...
String Gummy Cookie ─── Yo soy String Gummy Cookie.
Croissant Cookie ─── ¡Detente!.

Character Info Sheet
name: Leonard Horatio McCoy
name meaning: Leonard (/ˈlɛnɚd/ originating from Old High German, prefix levon ("lion") from the Greek Λέων ("lion") and Latin Leo, and the suffix hardu ("brave" or "hardy")- meaning "lion strength", "lion-strong", or "lion-hearted".)
Horatio (/həˈɹeɪʃiəʊ/ from the Latin Horātius, possibly meaning "timekeeper")
McCoy (/məˈkɔɪ/ anglicized from the Irish, Mac Aodh (/ˈiː, ˈeɪ/), meaning "son of fire")
alias/es: Len, Doctor, Bones, Leo
ethnicity: American (because his family has been in the Georgia area for at least 200 years)
one picture you like best of your character: (not in character but I have loved this pic since I first saw it)
three h/cs you've never told anyone: (I've had this blog for a little over 10 years, so there isn't much I haven't said in terms of headcanons so...)
While he doesn't hate it per se, Leonard is not a fan of being called Leo. Only a handful of people in his life have called him Leo and they are about the only ones he can stand it from. A couple of whom were his parents and grandparents. A few of his exes called him Leo. He's never really felt attached to the Leo part of his name and doesn't like to be reminded of his deceased family, or of his ex relationships.
He still occasionally has nightmares about the events in ST:ID even after years pass though they lessen in frequency as the years pass. The nightmares range from getting blown to smithereens because the torpedoes were actually bombs and they didn't diffuse it fast enough, not being there when Jim was actively dying to provide something for his…for Jim, not being fast enough and Jim actually dying, and being put on some sort of trial for playing god.
Expanding on previous sexuality and relationship headcanons: Leonard is bisexual, though most of his relationships have been with women. He's a serial monogamist, though with the right people (read: Jim and Spock or some OCs), he could and has done polyamorous relationships. That being said, he doesn't often fool around or have casual sex much because he finds that sex with a long term partner or partners is much more fun and fulfilling, but everyone has itches that need scratching from time to time. He'd probably not describe himself this way, but Len is a service top who can and has switched--he likes making his partner feel good and learning exactly what makes them tick.
three things your character likes doing in their free time:
Reading
Baking
Physical activity
eight people your character likes / loves: 4 canon and 4 muse specific and not exhaustive lists in any way shape or form
Jim Kirk, Spock, Scotty, Uhura, (or basically any of the main bridge crew really)
Silas (@exastrisnonnocere), Khan (@respondedinkind, and a previous Khan I rped with who is no longer on tumblr), Fable (@irresoluteextraterrestrial) or any of @playerentity's muses really, Q/Marcus (@resignedworkaholics)
two things your character regrets: Leonard has tried very hard not to have regrets in his life. But….they have happened.
He regrets not trying harder to find a cure for his dad. Too many what-ifs linger around his dad, and on bad days he airs them out before folding them away as something that is in the past and cannot be changed no matter how much he wishes it could be.
Not telling that one boy at Ole Miss that Leonard loved him. Whether it was fear or something else, Len sometimes wonders what his life would have looked like if he confessed to that man rather than going back to Jocelyn.
two phobias your character has:
thanatophobia - / ˌθæn ə təˈfoʊ bi ə / - an irrational or disproportionate fear of death, and in Leonard's case, for those he loves (he's witnessed it one too many times for it to not be completely irrational in his mind)
aviophobia - / ˌeɪ vi əˈfoʊ bi ə, ˌæv i- / - an irrational or disproportionate fear of flying in an airplane or other aircraft
stolen from/tagged by: @ensnchekov and @exastrisnonnocere
tagging: anyone who wants to do this
#dash games#headcanon#this took forever#im sorry for it being so late#took me forever to finish this#kinda felt rushed and forced at the end but whatever

What I saw in the leaked Loki S2 D23 trailer
Note: I've tried my best to write it all down. If there is anything incorrect or missing, please let me know and I'll update.
Also:(sc) means scene change
An elevator door opens to reveal the Marvel Studios logo
A close up of someone flicking through a small red book. It then refocuses to show Loki creeping up on them. They are in what looks like a normal room. He says "Hello" and then he glitches back and forth.
(sc) Loki is reading or looking at something we can't see and then looks over his right shoulder.
(sc) shot of what looks like a TVA office with a white door and a window that's shining with red-orange light. The lights flicker and it pans in towards the door.
(sc) Loki standing in what looks like the courtroom
(sc) Loki standing out in the desert. He says "This is going to sound strange"
(sc) Loki in a TVA hallway, glitching about the place. His arms move about wildly. We hear his voice say "I've been pulled through time"
(sc) a white and blue room with barriers on each side of what looks like a ramp down into it. The door begins to open. Loki's voice says "and I saw terrible..."
Switches to Loki wearing his TVA shirt (clean) and tie and the holster he had in episode 5 and 6 of S1. He looks shocked. It also looks like it is in the same room.
(sc) Loki in an orange light room. He's wearing a dark coat. He says "awful things."
(sc) Loki in his shirt and tie with a minute man. He grabs the pruning stick and hits it against a wall decorated in carvings of timekeepers. The wall melts away to reveal three golden Kang faces. He then gasps.
Screen with the words ‘This summer’
(sc) a shot of a bright area with a curved roof and walkways around the side. The central part is open (doesn't have any floor to walk on).
(sc) Loki and Mobius standing in a green TVA room. There's a circular desk like a reception. Mobius is looking off to the side and Loki is looking at the back of the room but also at him.
As they walk forward, someone (humanoid shape) jumps down onto a platform at the back of the room.
The shot flips to show Mobius' and Loki's reaction. Loki hesitates while Mobius walks forward.
The shot flips again to show Ke Huy Quan leaning over the desk to place something in front of them. Then he stands back and smiles proudly. Loki's voice says "This is about everything.."
(sc) Sylvie is lying on a brown sofa, her head resting against the back and her arms lying wide by her side. She is wearing headphones and staring up at the ceiling. There is a long table or display behind the sofa.
(sc) Casey is walking through a dark space. He gazes upwards. Loki's voice continues "when there's nothing to stand between this world..."
We see a damaged looking wide open space. There are lights in the background along the wall.
(sc) we see Hunter B-15 in her glorious yellow outfit.
Then we see Loki and Mobius standing outside a theatre wearing their tuxedos. There is a crowd and also a red car parked outside on the road where they are standing. The shot pans out. Loki's voice continues again, "and utter destruction"
(sc) Mobius stalking behind the theatre. It looks like someone is entering the theatre through a back entrance.
(sc) A door opens in a red room. The door is shaped like a submarine door.
Shot flips to show a concerned looking female character (Ravonna?). Loki's voice says "war is on its way"
Either scene changes or shot flipped to show Loki pointing behind him. If flipped, the walls look more ornate.
(sc) back to the curved roof area with Loki and a hunter fighting. Loki is wearing what looks like his tuxedo, so assume this is in the theatre. He blasts the hunter with green magic.

Once again thinking about this scene.
The look of adoration on Loki's face when he receives the daggers. How Mobius hands the daggers over so easily. How much it's like Mobius giving Loki a gift, but also giving part of himself to him. Making me think about why Mobius kept these daggers, what they meant to him. How much Mobius has been invested in Loki before even meeting him.
Also, that Mobius hands the daggers to Loki in the open. It's not something handed to Loki in secret. Mobius does something that the TVA (B-15 in this moment) doesn't approve of, and he does it again when they go to Pompeii without seeking permission. Mobius just wants to see Loki happy, to let him be himself. It's sweet.
So, yeah. The whole dagger thing is representative of Loki and love, but this is the other side. It's the side that is real and genuine, as Tom said so himself. It's not one that when he reaches for isn't real (it's just missing when he reaches in the end and that's not the same thing).
(And we could go on here, but this is all I have to say right now)
Thanks to @mimisempai for reminding me of this amazing scene today.

My #1 post of 2022
What I heard from the Loki S2 trailer audio (speech)
Loki: Hello?
Loki: This is gonna sound strange.
Loki: I've been pulled through time and I saw terrible, awful things.
Loki: This is about everything because nothing can stand between this world and utter destruction. War is on its way.
Mobius: A little over the top, don't ya think?
Loki: I thought it was spot on.
Loki: I cant be the problem anymore, Mobius.
Mobius: Who said you were?
Loki: I don't know. Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawk Eye, Agent Coulson, Thanos, Nick Fury, my father, my brother, Miss Minutes, you.
Mobius: Hmmm.
Edit note: The bit where they clap is not as easy to hear what Loki is saying. Originally I'd assumed it was what the Slash Film article had quoted for Loki ("I don't want you to think I'm the bad guy in all this" and then "Mobius") but on further listening, it sounds more like either the above (which I've edited) or "I can't be the problem any longer, Mobius". Or it's not that. If anyone knows, let me know.

How Labor Compliance Software Can Save Your Business
In today's complex regulatory landscape, businesses across industries grapple with a myriad of labor laws and compliance mandates. Non-compliance can result in hefty fines, legal battles, and reputational damage. Labor compliance software emerges as a strategic tool to mitigate these risks and safeguard your business's bottom line.
Understanding the Labor Compliance Challenge
Labor laws are intricate, with frequent updates and varying interpretations. Manual tracking and management are prone to errors, oversights, and inconsistencies. The consequences of non-compliance can be severe:
Financial penalties: Government-imposed fines can be substantial.
Legal fees: Disputes and lawsuits can drain resources.
Reputational damage: Negative publicity can erode customer trust.
Employee morale issues: Non-compliance can lead to decreased employee satisfaction and turnover.
The Role of Labor Compliance Software
Labor compliance software is designed to automate and streamline labor-related processes, ensuring adherence to complex regulations. Key functionalities include:
Time and Attendance Tracking: Accurately records employee hours, overtime, and breaks, preventing wage and hour violations.
Payroll Integration: Seamlessly integrates with payroll systems for accurate wage calculations and deductions.
Compliance Calendar: Tracks deadlines for various labor-related filings and notifications.
Document Management: Stores and organizes essential labor compliance documents.
Reporting and Analytics: Generates detailed reports on labor costs, compliance metrics, and potential risks.

Is Crystal Magic Real? Is There a Scientific Basis?
The magic of crystals is often touted, but is there any scientific basis to these claims? The answer is yes! Scientific research supports many of the properties attributed to natural crystals.
Piezoelectricity in Crystals
Natural quartz crystals possess piezoelectricity, a property where they can generate an electric charge in response to mechanical stress. These crystals can release approximately eight million vibrations per second, harnessing significant energy.
Energy Resonance and Magnetic Fields
Crystals have formed over millions of years, resonating with the Earth's natural vibrations. This interaction endows them with a powerful positive magnetic field. Wearing natural crystals can help counteract the negative magnetic fields we are often exposed to, potentially influencing our daily lives, work, relationships, and studies.
Stability and Frequency Characteristics
Quartz crystals are highly stable both physically and chemically. Their piezoelectric and elastic properties make them ideal for use in precision instruments. Crystals exhibit high Q values, low motion rates, high sensitivity, and stability, making them essential for oscillators and filters in applications such as frequency synthesis, counting, navigation, guidance, facsimile, computing, communications, and timekeeping.
Types of Quartz Crystals
The most common form of quartz is low-temperature quartz, forming hexagonal, asymmetric prismatic crystals at surface temperatures. High-temperature quartz forms under elevated temperatures, creating symmetrical hexagonal prisms. High-pressure quartz, found deep underground or formed during meteor impacts, is another variety.
Crystal Analysis
Crystals have been known to release substantial energy, a fact recognized since ancient times. By the late 19th century, scientists discovered quartz’s piezoelectric properties. When pressure is applied to one end of a quartz crystal, the opposite end releases an electric charge. By the 1920s, scientists also identified the oscillation phenomenon in quartz, which maintains a stable, high-frequency vibration when electrically charged.
Due to this stability and high-frequency oscillation, quartz crystals are used in electronic components, forming the basis of modern electronics. Further research has identified five main functions of crystals:
Focus and Refraction Crystals can focus and refract light, making them useful in lenses for lasers and other optical applications. They can produce high-energy beams for various uses, from precision eye surgeries to large-scale applications like missile defense systems.
Data Storage Crystals can store information, a property utilized in computer memory chips. These chips use the piezoelectric properties of crystals to represent binary data. Modern advancements allow enormous amounts of data to be stored in very small crystal structures.
Signal Transmission Crystals are crucial in electronics for transmitting information. Their stable oscillation frequencies ensure minimal signal errors, essential for tasks ranging from timekeeping in watches to complex computations in computers.
Energy Transformation Crystals can transform energy from one form to another. For example, solar cells convert light energy into electrical energy using crystal-based components. Crystals facilitate the conversion of electrical energy into light, heat, sound, or magnetic energy, and vice versa.
Energy Amplification Crystals can amplify energy without changing its frequency. In audio equipment, for example, electrical signals passing through quartz crystals can be converted to sound energy and then amplified, maintaining the original signal frequency.
Symbolism and Varieties of Crystals
Beyond their scientific properties, crystals hold various symbolic meanings. Different colors and shapes of crystals are associated with specific symbolic meanings:
Red: Vitality, health, passion, hope
Orange: Excitement, joy, vibrancy, elegance
Yellow: Warmth, brightness, happiness
Green: Youth, peace, seriousness
Purple: Nobility, elegance, luxury
Gold: Honor, richness, splendor
White: Purity, sanctity, freshness
Black: Mystery, silence
Identifying and Differentiating Crystals
Clear Quartz: Natural clear quartz often contains inclusions like cotton-like structures, cracks, or gas bubbles, distinguishing it from synthetic counterparts.
Citrine: Authentic citrine, often sourced from Brazil, is recognized by its deep orange-red color and distinct color bands.
Amethyst: Natural amethyst exhibits color zoning and may have inclusions. Under sunlight, it shows a red or blue hue, differing from synthetic versions.
Rose Quartz: Although not frequently counterfeited, rose quartz’s authenticity can be checked by examining its inclusions and color variations.
Aquamarine: While not a true quartz crystal, aquamarine is often mistaken for topaz. Topaz is heavier and denser, making it distinguishable by weight.
Phantom Quartz: Natural phantom quartz may have been dyed or synthetically altered. Authentic examples have natural inclusions, whereas dyed versions show uneven coloring and may fade over time.
Strawberry Quartz: This type features red inclusions and is often confused with similar minerals like feldspar. Genuine strawberry quartz contains iron oxide, giving it a distinct red or pink hue.
The magic of crystals is supported by scientific properties and practical applications, enhancing their mystical allure and functional value. Understanding these aspects can deepen our appreciation and utilization of these remarkable natural wonders.
